Position Summary &

Key Responsibilities

As an Associate II, you'll support critical Federal process efficiency projects that impact national security and preparedness capabilities. To be successful in this role, you'll need to excel in four key areas:

Project Management:
  • Lead and support task-level and project-level initiatives focused on knowledge management, process improvement, technology, and training in alignment with contractual requirements.
  • Provide clear task leadership by tracking progress, ensuring accountability, and delivering client-focused solutions.
  • Manage schedules and deliverables to ensure projects remain on track while fostering a collaborative, high-performance team environment.

Client Relationship Management: Develop relationships with clients to contribute to solutioning, foster a collaborative team culture, and keep an eye out for opportunities to add value.

  • Demonstrated expertise in knowledge management, process improvement, and process automation to enhance service quality and deliver impactful solutions for Federal clients, particularly within the Department of Homeland Security.
  • Experienced in working across multiple stakeholder groups during organizational change and new process development, ensuring alignment between mission needs and operational execution.
  • Brings strong interest and hands-on experience leveraging Power Automate and Power BI to design, implement, and optimize automated workflows and data-driven insights alongside evolving business processes, driving efficiency, transparency, and continuous improvement.

Leadership and Culture: Lead ad-hoc project teams on key tasks. Contribute to a collaborative team culture by asking questions, taking ownership of tasks, and ensuring 360-degree feedback that is timely, candid, and supportive

This position is hybrid; most work is performed remotely but with periodic commuting to client sites in Washington, DC.

This position is contingent upon contract award and funding availability.

Must-Have Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in government, consulting (preference with Department of Homeland Security), or related professional services
  • Experience with knowledge management, project management, process flows, and/or automation in MS 365

    Service delivery experience
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and timeline management
  • Excellent communication, writing, and facilitation skills
  • Proficiency in MS 365 suite
  • Ability commute periodically within the National Capital Region, and travel approximately 20%
  • Ability to pass a Federal public trust background check and/or security clearance investigation
Nice-To-Have Qualifications
  • Familiarity with DHS tools and processes
  • Proficiency working in backend development with MS 365
  • Master's degree in public administration, business administration, or a related field
  • Microsoft Power Platform certification
