Salary Range: $117,000 - $140,600 per year

Ops Tech Alliance is seeking a Modernization Application Developer to help transform legacy systems into secure, scalable, and cloud-ready applications. In this role, you’ll design and build modern application components that power mission success and enterprise innovation.

You’ll work hand-in-hand with architects, analysts, and integration specialists to deliver software solutions that are efficient, reliable, and future-focused. THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD

• Design and develop application modules that modernize legacy systems and meet evolving mission requirements
• Implement cloud-native features, microservices, and APIs to enhance performance and scalability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand user requirements and deliver functional solutions
• Participate in Agile sprints, peer code reviews, and Dev Sec Ops  workflows
• Ensure applications are built to meet cybersecurity compliance, testing, and documentation standards

• Current Top Secret security clearance with Polygraph
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in application development
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, Python, or similar languages
• Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure) and Dev Sec Ops  practices
• Experience with version control systems such as Git

• Experience in application modernization for government systems
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Git Lab relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Developer Associate, Azure Developer Associate)
