At Fearless , this Senior Consultant collaborates with cross-functional teams to align the technical vision, implementation, and quality of software systems across development, reliability, testing, and operations. This role will possess the skills to bridge business objectives with technical execution across software development, infrastructure, security, and testing at an advanced application-level of proficiency. The Sr. Consultant role will work on projects to ensure scalable, secure, and reliable solutions, while mentoring engineers, fostering collaboration, and aligning stakeholders with product and project goals.

In this role, you will apply your senior-level Dev Sec Ops  and platform engineering expertise to design, implement, and operate secure, automated delivery pipelines and cloud infrastructure for a mission-critical federal system. You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD pipelines, and security automation that support continuous delivery while meeting stringent federal security and compliance requirements. Working closely with engineering, security, and program leadership, you will enable reliable deployments within the SEC's AWS ACES environment and support the system through the continuous Authorization to Operate (cATO) lifecycle.

Your Responsibilities in This Role:
* Design, implement, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure using VPC, IAM, and KMS to support secure, scalable application environments.
* Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, ensuring repeatable and auditable environment provisioning.
* Build and operate CI/CD pipelines using AWS Code Pipeline and Git Hub Actions to enable automated build, test, security scanning, and deployment workflows.
* Integrate security scanning and quality gates into CI/CD pipelines using SAST and DAST tools, including Sonar Qube and Contrast.
* Implement and manage container security and orchestration, ensuring images and runtime environments meet federal and SEC security standards.
* Establish and maintain secrets management practices for credentials, keys, and sensitive configuration data.
* Configure and operate logging, monitoring, and tracing solutions using Cloud Watch and X-Ray to support observability and incident response.
* Support deployment and operations within the SEC AWS ACES environment, ensuring alignment with platform constraints and inherited controls.
* Collaborate with security teams to support continuous Authorization to Operate (cATO) activities, including security documentation, evidence collection, and automated compliance checks.
* Partner with development teams to improve reliability, deployment frequency, and security posture across the software delivery lifecycle.
* Contribute to operational playbooks, runbooks, and knowledge transfer artifacts. Work Experience
