Configuration Management Lead

Tech is looking for a Configuration Management Lead to support a team providing enterprise IT operations support for a DHS customer. The project focuses on infrastructure management and operations—monitoring, incident response, cybersecurity, system administration, patching, and unified communications—with an emphasis on automation to:

• Minimize manual intervention, improve efficiency, and reduce human errors
• Implement platforms that orchestrate workflows for end-to-end task execution
• Utilize AI and predictive analytics to detect anomalies, predict failures, and initiate self-healing processes to reduce downtime and improve system resilience

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 4 years’ team lead or equivalent experience in IT Configuration Management, metrics and reporting, ITSM process management, or other relevant experience
• Experience maintaining baseline and Configuration Management Database (CMDB) using platforms such as Service Now or Remedy
• Experience maintaining the baseline for efforts using Agile and Dev Ops methodologies
• Advanced experience using configuration management database (CMDB) to onboard new hardware/software technologies accurately and confirm that items are correctly documented
• 5+ years of IT requirements management, configuration management, change management or Systems Engineering experience
• Mid-level experience in configuration and change management principles
• Working knowledge of Jenkins, CMDB, code packaging, Jira, Salesforce, ELK, Git Hub, AWS and basic Unix commands

Eligibility for Entry on Duty clearance

• Experience maintaining the baseline for cloud-based systems
• AWS Certifications
