LMI seeks an Energy Engineer to support, improve and expand energy efficiencies and capabilities for a current Federal client.

• Support the client with analysis of energy use, distribution, generation, storage, and management.
• Support statistical modeling of energy needs.
• Support operations research and other data analytical methods to facilitate decision making and justify resource allocation.
• Provide support for the transition of the client to become a data-driven organization.
• Support in-depth analysis to facilitate informed decision making and policy development.
• Provide support and direct development for data collection, data quality assurance, and in-depth analysis related to operational energy.

• Competence in quantitative methods and applied mathematics
• Understanding of the fundamental concepts and techniques of operations research to energy challenges.
• Experience developing models and simulations and synthesizing information into quantitative and qualitative assessments to support senior leader decision-making.
• Bachelor’s Degree in:
  Operations Research, Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics or Management Science.
• Knowledge and understanding of, and practical experience in, the application of quality management and assurance techniques.
• Clearance:
  Background Investigation Eligible

Target salary range: $98,000 - $130,000

The salary range displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is not a guarantee of compensation. Individual salaries are determined by various factors including, but not limited to location, internal equity, business considerations, client contract requirements, and candidate qualifications such as education, experience, skills, and security clearances.
