Overview
Amyx, Inc. is seeking an Project Manager to be located in Washington, DC, for the eDiscovery team that will support the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Office of General Counsel (OGC).
The SEC has four primary goals:
1) Detect possible violations of the securities laws and regulations, including fraud;
2) Foster strong compliance and risk management practices;
3) monitor risk; and
4) Provide the SEC with implementation of rules and laws. The work environment will be dynamic, fast-paced and the candidate must demonstrate a strong customer service presence with SEC and Contractor staff.
- Serve as the primary point of contract for collections and loading phases of discovery matters.
- Create and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets related to data intake.
- Communicate status updates, risks, and milestones to legal teams and leadership.
- Coordinate with review teams to ensure data is available on schedule and aligned with review needs.
- Lead and coordinate defensible data collections across custodians, systems, and data sources (email, cloud platforms, file shares, endpoints, mobile devices).
- Work with Legal, IT, HR, and outside vendors to scope, plan and execute collections aligned with legal hold and eDiscovery requirements.
- Manage collections using enterprise tools such as Microsoft Purview, Enterprise Vault, Exchange journaling, One Drive, SharePoint etc.
- Develop and maintain collection protocols, documentation, and standard operating procedures.
- Track collections status, risks, and exceptions; elevate issues proactively.
- Oversee ingestion, processing, and loading into the Casepoint review platform.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to ensure processing parameters align with case strategy and cost controls.

Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Technology, or other field related to work under this requirement.
- Favorably adjudicated National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) investigation.
- 8+ years of PM experience with programs/project with $6M budget.
- 8+ years of IT experience.
- 8+ years of litigation and eDiscovery support experience.
- Familiarity with eDiscovery collections tools i.e. Microsoft Purview, Enterprise Vault to collect data and send data to processing/review platforms.
- Familiarity with eDiscovery processing tools to process data for litigation databases in support of various review platforms.
- Ability to conduct quality reviews of data within each database after processing to ensure data integrity and project reconciliation prior to submission to the government.
- Vast knowledge of quality control workflows and proper eDiscovery processing and preservation techniques.
- Superior time management and production processing multitasking techniques to ensure that productions (large or small) will be submitted on time in accordance to government set timelines.
- Familiarity with customer service level agreements and processing demands to correspond to these agreements.
- Strong knowledge of data triage and problem solving skills, from reconciling individual file processing issues e.g. (PSTs, Microsoft Office Documents, PDFs), to troubleshooting the SEC’s various processing and review platforms as issues are presented and encountered.
- Knowledge of reporting techniques to submit production and project reports (as needed) to government leads.
- Strong project logging skills as it pertains to all task detail recording from receipt of the project to maintain chain of custody, to recording all processing attributes (errors, exceptions, bates ranges, file counts etc.).
