We are hiring a Channel Specialist to support partner operations and channel engagement across our vendor ecosystem. This role is responsible for maintaining partner portal administration, tracking certifications and required trainings, and supporting consistent in-person partner activity throughout the DC/VA/MD region.
This position is well-suited for someone who is highly organized, professional, and comfortable representing the company in front of partners—both in meetings and at local channel events.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and manage administrative access to OEM and distributor partner portals (user access, permissions, updates, renewals, documentation)
- Track and report on required certifications, trainings, and partner program requirements to ensure compliance and readiness
- Maintain internal tracking tools (Excel/Sheets and other systems) and provide routine updates to Channel leadership
- Support partner program processes including program documentation, enablement coordination, and internal follow-up
- Assist with partner communications and scheduling (briefings, lunch & learns, vendor meetings, local events)
- Represent the organization at frequent local partner engagements, including:
- Vendor meetings at the office
- Partner lunches, happy hours, and relationship-building meetings
- Local day shows and regional channel events
- Work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to ensure partner activities and requirements are completed accurately and on time
- 2+ years of professional experience in channel, partner operations, marketing coordination, vendor management, or a related role
- Strong organizational skills with consistent attention to detail and follow-through
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a structured environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office / Google Workspace, especially Excel/Sheets
- Confident, professional presence with partners and vendors in-person
- Must be based in DC / Northern Virginia / Maryland
- Local travel is required weekly and frequently for partner meetings, events, lunches, and vendor engagements
- Ability to attend evening events (happy hours, networking) as needed
- Familiarity with partner portals (Cisco, Microsoft, AWS, VMware, etc.)
- Experience supporting certification tracking and partner program requirements
- VAR / systems integrator or federal IT environment exposure
- CRM experience (Salesforce or similar)
