EDiscovery Analyst

Overview

Amyx, Inc. is seeking an eDiscovery Analyst to be located in Washington, DC, for the eDiscovery team that will support the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Office of General Counsel (OGC).

The SEC has four primary goals:
1) Detect possible violations of the securities laws and regulations, including fraud;
2) Foster strong compliance and risk management practices;
3) monitor risk; and
4) provide the SEC with implementation of rules and laws. The work environment will be dynamic and fast-paced, and the candidate must demonstrate a strong customer service presence with SEC and Contractor staff.

• Process inbound document productions and apply quality control measures to productions assigned by the government within program-defined service level agreements.
• Plan and implement eDiscovery solutions, using SEC standard operating procedures on each project.
• Lead, coordinate, and support team members so that processing projects are completed within Service Level Agreement guidelines.
• Present project completion reports to corresponding government stakeholders and direct reporting supervisors.
• Communicate accurate information.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Technology, or related field.
• Favorably adjudicated National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) investigation.
• 7+ years of professional experience.
• 5+ years of eDiscovery experience.
• Familiarity with eDiscovery collections tools (e.g., Microsoft Purview, Enterprise Vault) to collect data and send to processing/review platforms.
• Familiarity with eDiscovery processing tools to process data for litigation databases in support of various review platforms.
• Ability to conduct quality reviews of data within each database to ensure data integrity and project reconciliation prior to submission to the government.
• Knowledge of quality control workflows and proper eDiscovery processing and preservation techniques.
• Strong time management and multitasking skills to ensure productions are submitted on time per government timelines.
• Familiarity with customer service level agreements and processing demands.
• Strong knowledge of data triage and problem solving, from reconciling file processing issues (e.g., PSTs, Office documents, PDFs) to troubleshooting SEC processing and review platforms.
• Knowledge of reporting techniques to submit production and project reports to government leads.
• Strong project logging skills related to task detail recording, chain of custody, and processing attributes (errors, exceptions, Bates ranges, file counts, etc.).
• Effective communication with clients via email and verbal channels, with ability to escalate problematic productions or issues during processing and upload within SEC environments.

• Project Management Institute PMI-ACP Project Management Professional Certification (PMP)
• Certified eDiscovery Specialist (CEDS)
• eDiscovery Review Platform Certification (e.g., Casepoint, RCA, Recommind Axcelerate Processing, Nuix)
• Experience with Microsoft Purview, Enterprise Vault, Harvester, SharePoint Collector
• Experience with Casepoint
• Experience with Information Systems
• Prior federal services environment consulting experience
