Nex Threat is currently seeking a Lead Project Manager who will be responsible for supporting DOD customers in network services, implementations, and management. As a Lead Project Manager, your role will involve collaborating with the team lead to manage projects that support global networks. You will also be leading cross-functional teams that include third-party vendors, internal Network Operations, and Internal Security groups in the planning and execution of projects.

This position requires broad experience in all functional activities to successfully plan, implement, and support circuit deliveries, equipment installations, and a day-two management takeover. Additionally, you will be supporting a larger team on proposals, project scheduling (MS Project), operational support, ordering, inventory, transition/implementation performance reporting, budgeting/forecasting, training, customer care, operations, program management plans, change management plans, resource plans, quality assurance plans, and risk management plans, etc.

• Lead and coordinate cross-functional project teams, including third-party vendors, internal Network Operations, and Internal Security groups.
• Plan, execute, and manage circuit deliveries, equipment installations, and day-two operations.
• Develop and maintain project schedules (MS Project), forecasts, budgets, and performance reports.
• Prepare and maintain program management plans, change management plans, resource plans, QA plans, and risk management plans.
• Support proposals, customer care, operations, and training as part of project execution.
• Communicate with customers to assess needs, resolve problems, and manage expectations; maintain product and service knowledge.

• PMP Certification
• Understanding of information assurance, cybersecurity, privacy policies, disciplines, and methodologies
• Understanding of Federal initiatives in artificial intelligence, quantum encryption, cybersecurity, supply chain risk management, and Zero Trust
• Understanding of FISMA and reporting structure
• Understanding of NIST RMF
• Understanding of NIST CSF
• Understanding of Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) implementation
• Understanding of NICE Cybersecurity Workforce Framework and related acts
• Ability to work with customers to assess needs, assist, resolve problems, satisfy expectations; knows products and services
• Understanding of Department of Justice CSAM application reporting and controls management
• Ability to present analytic findings, extract data from multiple sources, manipulate and validate data, and conduct root cause analysis
• Skilled in using Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, and Visio
• Data-bricks experience
• Experience with establishing and managing Agile continuous delivery and continuous improvement environments, federal contract projects, and effective communication
• Understanding of project management principles, methods, or tools for developing, scheduling, coordinating, and managing projects and resources, including cost, work, and performance monitoring
• Ability to facilitate workshops that foster business buy-in and deliver solutions aligning with DOT strategies
• Understanding of Enterprise architecture program development and its linkages with project implementation, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and records management
