You’ll deploy cutting-edge K8s tech in real-world tactical environments, gaining unmatched edge computing experience. Working directly with customers in high-stakes, air-gapped setups will sharpen your problem-solving and system design skills under pressure. You’ll build resilience into critical infrastructure while expanding your expertise in container orchestration and edge deployments. With a hybrid setup (3–4 days on-site), you’ll stay close to the action while keeping some remote flexibility.

This balance lets you focus when needed but stay hands-on with deployments and live environments. You’ll also get $50k–$80k in annual stock and a solid 401k match, boosting your long-term financial security while you grow your technical impact. What you’ll do
Work directly with customers to deploy K8s products in tactical edge environments (air-gapped, on-prem, edge devices). You’ll provide operational support, including debugging network and systems issues, reviewing system monitors and alerts, managing system configuration, load balancing, container orchestration, and conducting upgrades. Provide technical troubleshooting support to forward-deployed customers, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on operations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability, scalability, performance, and security of K8s products in tactical edge environments, contributing to new operational features when necessary.

What you’ll need
2 years+ experience as a Software Engineer

Experience with containers (Docker/Podman) and orchestration (Open Shift/Kubernetes) infrastructure. Knowledge of Dev Ops and Dev Sec Ops  principles and practices. You combine your engineering expertise and drive to improve existing systems and processes, with the creativity to develop novel solutions to evolving challenges. You’re comfortable working in a rapidly changing environment with dynamic objectives and collaborate effectively in teams of technical and non-technical individuals.
