Description Roaming. The resource will provide hands on support for phone handset (analog and VOIP technologies) and wall jack activations for phone systems onsite. Technologies include Cisco/Siemens and Avaya/Unify. The candidate should have experience with at least two of the preferred technologies (VOIP and phone). The customer will provide training for the other technologies on site. If a candidate has experience with only a single technology, please bring this candidate forward anyway.

Other experience required to perform daily tasks includes: punch downs, cross connects, 66 block experience, familiarity with data equipment, fluking switch ports (using a Fluke tester), running link runner, fluking a data point, activating jacks, and Cat 5/Cat 6 cabling.

• Provide hands-on support for phone handset activations (analog and VOIP) and wall jack activations on site.
• Perform punch downs, cross connects, 66 block work, and activate jacks.
• Work with Cat 5/Cat 6 cabling and be familiar with data equipment.
• Fluke port testing and data point testing; run link runner as needed.
• Collaborate with on-site customer teams and follow training for technologies not currently in scope.

• Experience with 2 of the following technologies:
  Cisco/Siemens and Avaya/Unify (VOIP and/or phone). If only one tech is experienced, candidates with that background may still be considered.
• Familiar with data equipment and field cabling tasks (Cat 5/Cat 6, 66 block, punch down, cross connects).
• Fluke testing experience (switch ports, data points) and ability to use a Fluke tester.
• Experience with running link runner and activating jacks.
• Siemens 4K phone system is a nice-to-have, not required.
• 110 punch down experience.
• Voice management and related IP/telephony knowledge is a plus.
• Vaccination requirement noted: CVD vaccination required—no exemptions.

• Job Type: Contract position based out of Washington, DC.
• Pay range: $20.00 – $30.00/hr.
