This role exists to make our go-to-market engine predictable, measurable, and hard to break. You will be the operating backbone for Sales, Marketing, Client Experience (Customer Success), and Business Development—owning the systems, data, and process standards that drive pipeline integrity, forecast accuracy, and clean execution.

This is a builder role: you’ll modernize revenue operations by implementing tight process design with an AI-aware approach to automation, routing, scoring, and insight generation.

The Opportunity

This role exists to make our go-to-market engine predictable, measurable, and hard to break. You serve as the operating backbone for Sales, Marketing, Client Experience (Customer Success), and Business Development—owning the systems, data, and process standards that drive pipeline integrity, forecast accuracy, and clean execution.

We are prioritizing candidates in the Washington, DC, Chicago, and Knoxville areas. We will consider candidates based in the United States (remote) ET and CT time zones.

Responsibilities

  • Salesforce as system of record for GTM: configuration, permissioning, objects, lifecycle design, change control, and adoption.
  • Revenue data integrity: definitions, hygiene standards, auditability, and enforcement (not “best effort” cleanliness).
  • GTM tooling and integrations across Hub Spot, Zendesk, Clay, Nooks, and anything else we add—workflow reliability, documentation, and failure monitoring.
  • Revenue reporting layer: dashboards, pipeline views, funnel instrumentation, activity metrics, and executive-ready reporting and insights.
  • Forecasting operations in partnership with Finance: bookings vs. revenue reconciliation, renewal/expansion visibility, and forecast accuracy discipline.
  • Lead-to-cash operational workflow design: lead routing, SLA enforcement, stage definitions, handoffs, renewals, and closed-loop feedback.
  • Operational standards: SOPs, onboarding, enablement for GTM systems, and ongoing governance.

HOW YOU WILL DRIVE IMPACT

You’ll run Rev Ops with an operating-system mindset—tight inputs, clear definitions, and measurable outputs.

Execution Model

  • Build an opinionated GTM “truth model” (lifecycle stages, required fields, exit criteria, and guardrails).
  • Automate the repetitive, error-prone parts of GTM (routing, tasking, renewal triggers, enrichment, stage enforcement).
  • Instrument the funnel end-to-end so leadership can answer:
    What’s working? What’s not? What are we changing this week?

Decision Ownership & Influence

  • You are accountable for the day-to-day design, maintenance, and improvement of GTM processes in Salesforce and adjacent systems.
  • You recommend and drive tradeoffs between “custom” vs “standard,” partnering with GTM and Finance leadership with a bias toward scalability and reliability.

Operating Cadence & Metrics (examples)

  • Forecast accuracy (monthly/quarterly), pipeline coverage by segment, and stage conversion integrity.
  • ARR and pipeline visibility: point-in-time ARR report and pipeline waterfall showing monthly changes.
  • Data quality scorecards: completeness, duplication, stage compliance, and aging.
