Senior SME - Project Manager; Agile SDLC

Edgewater Federal Solutions is seeking a Senior SME Project Manager to assist the IT development team in understanding the business processes, workflows, and information requirements of the business users. This is onsite in DC and requires project management expertise in Agile / software development lifecycle.

• Bachelor's degree in IS, Computer Science, or related field
• U.S. Citizenship is required per contract.
• Proficiency in requirements gathering and documentation techniques (e.g., use cases, user stories, process flows)
• Experience with business process
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in Scrum teams
• Familiarity with SQL for data querying and basic database concepts
• Proficiency in requirements management tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure Dev Ops)
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business needs into technical requirements
• Experience with Agile and traditional project management methodologies
• Knowledge of risk management and mitigation strategies
• Proficiency in collaboration and communication tools (e.g., Microsoft Teams)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git or SharePoint) for documentation management
• Experience with stakeholder management tools and techniques
