We are seeking a high-caliber Principal SDET & Automation Architect to lead the evolution of our quality engineering ecosystem for a premier enterprise client in the Washington, D.C. area. This is a technical leadership role designed for a “full-stack” automation expert with over 10 years of experience who can bridge the gap between software development, cloud infrastructure, and quality assurance. You will be responsible for architecting sophisticated multi-platform frameworks covering Web, Mobile (iOS/Android), API, and legacy Mainframe systems, while pioneering the integration of AI-driven development tools like Git Hub Copilot and Codium into our CI/CD pipelines.

This role is pivotal in driving a “shift-left” culture, ensuring PCI compliance and ADA accessibility, and mentoring engineering teams to maintain world-class software standards.

• Framework Architecture:
  Design, build, and enhance end-to-end automation frameworks for Web, Mobile, and API platforms using Selenium, Appium, and Rest Assured.
• Pipeline Integration:
  Collaborate with Dev Ops and SRE teams to integrate AI insights and automation scripts into CI/CD pipelines, including managing cloud infrastructure for APK/IPA file handling.
• Custom Reporting:
  Develop and host advanced HTML-based reporting dashboards using Kibana, BDD graphs, and dynamic data visualization to provide real-time quality insights.
• Security & Compliance:
  Ensure all digital channels (Dotcom and Mobile) are compliant with PCI vulnerability standards and ADA accessibility requirements.
• Cross-Functional Leadership:
  Promote “shift-left” testing methodologies by training development teams on automation best practices and providing high-level technical guidance.
• Full-Stack Validation:
  Execute complex testing across diverse environments, including UAT, AVD, and PVT, while validating data integrity through SQL queries and stored procedures.

• 10+ Years of
  
  Experience:
  
  Proven track record in Automation Testing with mastery of Selenium, Cucumber, TestNG, Appium, and Webdriver IO.
• Advanced Java Mastery:
  Expert-level knowledge of Java (multi-threading, POJO) and JavaScript scripting.
• Mobile Expertise:
  Deep hands-on experience in Mobile automation (Android/iOS) using XCUITest, XCTest, and debugging via Charles Proxy.
• API & Backend Proficiency:
  Extensive experience with Rest Assured (JSON/GSON), RESTful protocols, SQL Server, and Mainframe testing.
• Cloud & AI Tools:
  Working knowledge of AWS applications and hands-on experience using Git Hub Copilot or Codium (qodo) for code optimization.
• Specialized Testing:
  Familiarity with ADA cross-environment validation and PCI security protocols within e-commerce or enterprise environments.
