Leidos is looking for a highly-motivated, first‑class Litigation Support Data Specialist II to join our busy team supporting the Litigation Support Section of the Antitrust Division of the U.S. Department of Justice.
Location
: 450 5th Street NW, Washington, DC. This position is on‑site. After client approval you may be allowed to work two or three days per week teleworking. Note that any teleworking is always at the client’s discretion.

PrimaryResponsibilities
- Assist with creating and updating document processing procedures as needed.
- Modify load files and perform quality control on loaded data quickly and accurately.
- Run multiple load streams simultaneously.
- Perform native file processing in iPRO.
- Export data from Relativity to create load files for various platforms as requested by the Case Manager.
- Perform data conversion processing, including conversions of various document types.
- Perform special format data conversions and file manipulation requests.
- Handle quality control on load files and Relativity data loads and exports.
- Execute advanced requests such as creating data exports for productions, performing quality control on files, and handling complicated overlays or appends, privilege clawbacks, and sequestration of documents.
- Verify accuracy on loads completed by new Data Specialists.
- Provide hands‑on training to other Data Specialists as needed.
- Perform basic Relativity searching and global updates to mark and/or tag records as requested; confirm record counts in Save Searches and image red actions prior to creating exports for production.
- Discuss data inconsistencies found with the Project Manager, Project Supervisor, and the Case Manager when necessary.
- Assist on calls regarding data load file formats or media encryption software with the Case Manager and other IT individuals as requested.
- Work as part of a team — must be agile in pitching in for others as needed.
- At least two years’ experience performing eDiscovery roles, including electronic file processing, image and data file conversion, data culling, quality assurance, database loads, retrieval, and data analysis.
- Strong knowledge of litigation support data loading, file conversion, and manipulation for loading to various database platforms.
- Strong experience running Bates imaged productions and native, Tiff, and text productions out of Relativity or equivalent eDiscovery software.
- Experience with the litigation discovery process and the EDRM workflow.
- Experience with Relativity, LAW, and IPRO processing or similar tools.
- Expertise working with computers and a strong understanding of hardware components.
- Attention to detail is vital.
- Flexible schedule and able to work extra hours when requested.
- Undergraduate degree; preferably IT related.
- Strong writing and verbal skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, sometimes stressful environment.
- Ability to estimate time required for a given task.
- Knowledge of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) workflow.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Knowledge of the Government’s IT environment, including office automation networks, PC and server‑based applications.
- Undergraduate degree in computer science or related field.
- More than 5 years’ experience in eDiscovery roles, including electronic file processing, image and data file conversion, quality assurance, database loads and exports.
- Current or active clearance preferred.
Pay
: $41.82/hr.
