Responsibilities

As the Manager of Technical Delivery at a fast‑growing business, you’ll have the opportunity to shape the growth of the Customer Success department. You will:

  • Lead a team of Solutions Architects and Deployment Engineers responsible for all technical aspects of Company product deliveries, ensuring that customers have the best possible experience.
  • Lead technical scoping support to the Sales Department, ensuring that their sales opportunities are set up for success from the earliest stages.
  • Lead career development for your team members through one‑on‑one coaching, setting development goals, and providing clear, honest performance feedback.
  • Help shape Company product strategy and roadmap by understanding customers’ missions, and representing their interests in internal development processes.
  • Foster cross‑departmental relationships with the engineering department, ensuring product development stays aligned with customer needs and facilitating knowledge transfer across teams.
  • Manage development efforts to improve Company internal delivery and deployment tooling.
  • Help continue to grow by managing the technical interview process for Customer Success, ensuring the process is rigorous, fair, and focused.
What you need to be successful
  • 3+ years Experience as a technical manager, including technical portfolio management
  • 4+ years Experience as a solutions architect, systems engineer, and/or systems administrator
  • B.S. or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Prior work experience managing technical personnel resources across a large number of concurrent projects.
  • Prior work experience leading development of software or technical infrastructure projects.
  • Familiarity with diverse technical topics, including:
    • Python and bash scripting
    • Data storage technologies / database design
    • Cloud Dev Ops and Cloud services (for example: Ansible, Terraform, Cloud Formation; AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.)
    • Designing system architecture
    • Linux system administration
    • Understanding of security engineering / firewalls
  • Bonus if you have:
    • Software languages such as Java
    • Query languages
    • Machine learning
    • Experience supporting Fed/Civ customers (i.e. DHS, DoS, DoJ, etc.)
  • U.S. Citizenship is required, TS/SCI clearance preferred
