The Oracle Functional Analyst will be responsible for designing, implementing, customizing and integrating Oracle e-Business Suite applications with other systems, and providing ongoing support and future enhancements of those solutions. This position will be responsible for ensuring Expedia’s Oracle e-Business Suite portfolio of applications are designed to meet evolving business requirements and standards for reliability, scalability, availability, and usability. This position will also work with team members as needed to scope, design, test, implement, support and enhance Oracle e-Business Suite solutions.
Responsibilities- Partners with business to gain solid understanding of Expedia’s business processes
- Understands the business process flows and configurations for Oracle Procure-to-Pay (P2P)
- Supports end-to-end business process testing for Procure-to-Pay (P2P) business cycle
- Writes/reviews functional specification documents for conversions, interfaces and extensions
- Researches solutions and coordinates the remediation of deficiencies
- Provides recommendations and solutions to business requests and problems
- Assist business with acceptance testing of final results, either for an enhancement to the existing applications or when introducing new functionality in a project
- Required:
6 – 8 years of hands‑on Oracle e‑Business Suite application within the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) Workstream - Required:
Oracle Release 12 (12.1.x or greater) with a minimum of 3 unique implementations or upgrades in the last 10 years - In depth knowledge of Oracle application modules – Purchasing (including iProcurement); E‑Business Tax;
Payables (including Sub Ledger Accounting and Pre‑Payments) - Experience with SDLC, AIM Methodology (BR100, MD050, etc.), and Agile Project Management principles
- Strong overall functional knowledge of Oracle e‑Business Suite Applications (outside of Procure-to-Pay) with a good technical understanding
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Advanced configuration skills in Procure-to-Pay modules emphasizing standard functionality and the features available without extensions or customizations
- Experience in creating and performing test and use cases
- Basic SQL and Oracle RDBMS table knowledge specific to Oracle Procure-to-Pay applications
- Demonstrated ability to think “outside the box”
- Demonstrated ability to drive results and execution
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with all levels of the organization
- Bachelors’ Degree in Information Systems, Finance/Accounting or related required
