FDA ORSA Analyst

MDB Group is seeking to fill an FDA ORSA Analyst position for our customer in Arlington, VA. We are a Small Business Administration certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) in Lorton, Virginia. MDB Group provides Technical, Operational, Force Development, Financial, and Acquisition Consulting Services to the Department of Defense. We currently have team members supporting the Army Deputy Chief of Staff for Programs (G-8) Force Development (FD) Directorates;

the Assistant Secretary of the Army (Acquisition, Logistics, and Technology); and the Office of the Under Secretary of Defence for Intelligence & Security. We are honored to have been awarded our third consecutive Army G8 Force Development contract.

FDA ORSA Analyst

Experience with data analytics/operations research, including R coding and data visualization skills. Possess a strong background in data science, business analysis, or operational research.

Able to apply modern programming languages to accomplish mission tasks. Responsibilities encompass operational research for FD, modern programming languages and other open-source languages for data analysis, collaborating with cross-functional teams for actionable insights, developing advanced statistical models, and creating effective data visualizations.

Able to apply analytic techniques such as statistical analysis, forecasting and measurement to effect analyses (e.g., ANOVA, Multiple Regression), cost analysis, flow modeling, forecast modeling, linear programming, simulations and queuing theory, and business reengineering/IDEF modeling and be proficient in writing/editing R code as well as in Tableau and Power

BI.

Requires strong communication skills, experience in developing reports and dashboards, effective collaboration in cross-functional teams, and the ability to work independently on projects within established timelines.

Experience conducting data collection, applying analytical techniques in innovative ways, and determine measures of effectiveness.

Experience with Data Analytics/Operations Research to include R coding and data visualization skills and experience.

Perform as Operations Research Systems Analyst with demonstrated experience in conducting analytical studies using a variety of mathematical, statistical, and other operations research techniques to identify and define problems, develop, and investigate alternative courses of action, and present findings and options.

All contractor support personnel shall be able to build, evaluate and model modernization, resourcing, equipment distribution and readiness using optimization software such as R and SAS, and visualize output with business intelligence tools, e.g., Qlik or Tableau. equipment distribution and readiness using modern optimization software and visualize output with Microsoft Office 365 business intelligence tools.

• A minimum of four (4) years ORSA experience at most senior levels of the military such as the HQDA, MACOMS, or Army Service Component Command.
• Bachelor's Degree(s) in or more of the following disciplines:
  Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering (Systems or Industrial), or Computer Science.
