This position is located in the Immediate Office, House Information Resources (HIR), Office of the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), U.S. House of Representatives (House).

Duties

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Preparation of directorate budgets and major hardware and resources procurements.
  • Application of systems engineering principles and objectives.
  • Communication with elected officials, senior staff, information systems professionals, and technical and non-technical users.

Qualifications
  • 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Master’s Degree in Information Technology or associated discipline or equivalent senior level experience.
  • Knowledge of a wide range of technical and administrative areas.
  • Ability to recognize and deal with politically sensitive issues.
  • Knowledge of requirements definition and detailed design for Information Technology systems.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Demonstration of HIR Technical
