KPMG provides audit, tax, and advisory services. We are seeking a Temporary Senior Engineer, Technology Operations Center, for a twelve‑month assignment to join our Digital Nexus technology organization.

• Provide expert‑level technical support to application teams using the Open Shift platform; troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Open Shift virtualization or other virtualization platforms.
• Work closely with application teams to understand their requirements and provide guidance and recommendations to optimize Open Shift deployment.
• Maintain deep technical and business knowledge of industry directions and trends.
• Collaborate with other teams (operations, middleware) to ensure timely resolution of issues; participate in on‑call rotation for 24/7 support of critical issues.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including knowledge base articles and best practices; contribute to automation tools and scripts to improve support processes.
• Mentor and train other support engineers to improve technical skills and knowledge of Open Shift.
• Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG’s respectful and courteous work environment.

• Minimum three years of recent experience managing medium‑ to large‑scale container platforms and providing technical support for enterprise applications.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university (preferred).
• Practical experience with Open Shift (installation, configuration, troubleshooting) and strong understanding of containerization and Kubernetes; experience with CI/CD processes in an enterprise environment (e.g., Git Hub Actions, Jenkins).
• Scripting experience in Shell, Bash, Python, or Power Shell; knowledge of SDLC lifecycle; virtualization experience (e.g., VMWare, KVM) a plus.
• Strong verbal/written communication, problem‑solving, and analytical skills; ability to collaborate with clients, IT management, and team members.
• Detail‑oriented with excellent technical writing skills and effective time management.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship; KPMG does not sponsor employment‑based visas for this opportunity.
