Helpdesk Specialist Journeyman DC

Responsibilities

• Install and configure system hardware/software in an enterprise environment.
• Install operating system patches and upgrades (OS) as required.
• Provide remote support using an endpoint management tool.
• Support desktop operating systems (Windows 10, Mac OSX 10.10.X).
• Provide administrative IT support and manage service requests in ITSM tools (e.g., Serviice Now or similar).
• Demonstrate strong customer service and user-facing communication to make nontechnical users comfortable with complex technology concepts.
• Manage time effectively with detail-oriented organizational skills.
• Troubleshoot hardware-related issues and complex software-related issues.
• Utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Office 2010+ and Office 365).

• 6-10 yrs installing and configuring system hardware/software in an enterprise environment.
• 6-10 yrs installing operating system patches and upgrades.
• Expertise in supporting desktop operating systems (Windows 10, Mac OSX 10.10.X).
• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience using an endpoint management tool to provide remote support.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Experience providing administrative support in an IT environment.
• Proficient time management skills and detail-oriented organizational skills.

  MCP.
• Experience managing service requests for IT support in Serviice Now or a similar ITSM platform.
• Science in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Office 2010+ and Office 365).
