Unit Overview

The Information and Technology Solutions (ITS) Vice Presidential Unit leverages information and technology to accelerate, deepen and sustain development impact. The Corporate Solutions Department (ITSCO) delivers digital transformation of corporate services, combining design‑thinking, automation, and AI across key platforms.

Unit Context

The Corporate Experience Solutions Unit will serve as the hub for designing, delivering and evolving digital interactions for WBG employees, partners and stakeholders. It focuses on high‑impact platforms such as intranets, external websites, HR self‑service, travel, and learning systems.

The Six Teams
  • Employee Engagement – intranet and internal web solutions
  • Staff Development – career development, performance management, learning management
  • Employee Self‑Service – HR, IT, time recording, leave portals
  • Corporate Services – facilities, travel, real estate digital tools
  • Shareholder Experience – board governance, reporting, analytics
  • External Experience – digital engagement for clients and partners
Duties and Responsibilities

The Manager combines strategic vision, product leadership and agile delivery to lead the WBG’s portfolio of high‑impact digital engagement platforms.

  • Leadership & Strategic Planning – Drive product roadmaps, partner with stakeholders, co‑create investment priorities.
  • Delivery, Efficiency & Continuous Improvement – Own platform delivery, quality, and cost, measure adoption and satisfaction, embed process automation.
  • People Management & Culture Leadership – Build and develop a high‑performing, globally distributed team, foster a safe, collaborative environment.
Key Deliverables in Year One
  • Assess team and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Deliver product roadmaps for the ten largest products.
  • Successfully deliver the capital program.
  • Define roadmap for intuitive, engaging experience for internal and external users.
  • Establish agile teams and collaboration across the department.
Selection Criteria Education & Experience
  • Master’s degree in computer science, engineering or related field with 10+ years relevant experience; or bachelor’s degree with 15+ years.
  • Post‑graduate coursework in digital technology, AI, business management, etc. preferred.
  • Agile certification (SAFe Agilist, POPM) required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, Azure, Adobe Experience Platform, SharePoint Online, and SaaS/cloud technologies.
  • Proven product‑management, solution architecture, and application delivery for enterprise‑scale digital platforms.
Management & Leadership
  • Lead multidisciplinary, distributed teams with agile IT delivery model.
  • Partner with business stakeholders and vendors, build governance.
  • Strong collaboration, diplomacy, influence.
  • Business acumen, ability to simplify complex concepts.
  • Passion for WBG mission.
