Overview

Cloud Engineer, Mid – Everyone is trying to "harness the power of the cloud," but not everyone knows how. As an experienced cloud computing and Dev Ops engineer, you know how to take advantage of cloud capabilities. Here, you' ll work with our team of experts and use cutting-edge enterprise cloud platforms to guide your clients as they modernize their Information Technology (IT) infrastructure and meet their most challenging missions.

We are looking for someone to evangelize and engineer an automated, faster, and more reliable solution to help support our clients in the healthcare space.

You’ll collaborate closely with architects and fellow engineers to build and deliver automated, reliable, and transparent solution components. You’ll broaden your experience within a Dev Ops framework to build and manage container apps and use products like Kubernetes to further the mission. With access to our internal Azure, AWS, OCI, and GCP labs, you’ll have space and time to explore different ways of solving our client’s challenges, and you’ll partner with stakeholders and lead your team to deliver and scale the right technical solutions.

Whether modernizing legacy computing platforms and applications, building new ones from scratch, or leading continuous integration and deployment, you’ll have the latest tech and brightest teammates at your fingertips.

You Have
  • 2+ years of experience in cloud engineering with Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Azure
  • 2+ years of experience with cloud-based solutions, including automation, observability, and monitoring
  • Experience implementing scalable, reliable, and secure cloud-based systems in AWS or Azure
  • Experience in partnering with Solution Architects, providing technical feedback, and bringing innovation to achieve business needs
  • Experience with Dev Ops best practices, including reusable Infrastructure as Code (IAC) with Terraform or Cloud Formation, CI/CD, and Docker containerization and orchestration with Kubernetes, Amazon EKS, or Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
  • Knowledge of security and compliance requirements for cloud-based solutions, network architecture, and security principles
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.

The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $ (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen s total compensation package for employees.
