Your Next Great Adventure Awaits! Leidos is hiring a Deputy Program Manager on the ESA V program.
ESA V is an IT Managed Services program supporting several customers within the Department of Justice, providing a range of IT services, including help desk, deskside support, Windows workstation engineering and maintenance, managed print services, ITSM, Active Directory services, and video conferencing, Dev Ops, among others.
The individual selected for the position will serve as the Deputy Program Manager for Leidos at one of the federal customers on the ESA program. The Deputy Program Manager will work closely with the Program Manager to manage day‑to‑day work, adjudicate priorities, interface with the customer, manage personnel actions, and other relevant duties as assigned. The successful candidate will have direct personnel management responsibility and technical oversight for a defined portion of the program scope.
This position is primarily on‑site at the customer facility in Washington, DC.
Leidos is responsible for providing technical services to this federal customer in several IT operations and engineering areas, and candidates are expected to have experience managing at least some of the following services:
- Tier 1 Service Desk
- Tier 2 Desk Side and VIP Support
- Asset Management
- User Device Management
- Database Administration
- Application Development
- Information Security
- Dev Ops
- Platform / Infrastructure Engineering
- Network Administration and Engineering
- Cybersecurity Operations
- Enterprise Architecture and Strategic Leadership
The Deputy Program Manager will support the management of financial performance for this portion of the ESA portfolio. The successful candidate will assist in developing and providing regular reports related to financial and technical performance.
The individual selected for this position will assist with process enhancement practices aimed at improving overall service delivery for the federal customer.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, with 5+ years of prior relevant experience OR a Master’s degree with 3+ years of prior relevant experience. Additional years of experience and/or relevant certifications may be considered and/or accepted in lieu of a degree.
- The individual selected for this position must successfully complete and maintain a Public Trust security investigation by the government.
- US Citizenship.
- Experience managing and triaging IT operational tickets and developing actionable dashboards by using an ITSM.
- Planning, organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
- Project management certifications, such as a PMP, are highly desirable.
- Technical background in IT or software.
- Experience working on‑site with customers.
- Government contracting experience, particularly with the DOJ.
- DOJ Clearance.
The program budget salary for this role could fall anywhere between $130,000 to high $150,000 with a slight wiggle room (no guarantees) based on relevant experience and assessment. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreements (if any), or other law.
