Linux System & Network Administrator
About the RoleLabN is seeking a Linux System & Network Administrator to join our growing team in Washington, DC. In this role, you will work with both Linux systems and network technologies
, supporting secure operations and infrastructure. This position offers the opportunity to grow your technical expertise in a collaborative team environment while contributing to meaningful projects.
- Administer and maintain Linux systems
- Provide network support and troubleshooting for on-site operations
- Support configuration, monitoring, and optimization of systems and networks
- Contribute to ongoing improvements in security, compliance, and performance
- Qualified in Linux system administration
- Experienced with Linux network support
- Ability and willingness to work full-time, on-site in Washington, DC
- Familiarity with network equipment (
switches, routers, firewalls
) - Experience with network cryptographic technologies (INE, HAIPE, CSfC)
- Understanding of protocols:
OSPF, BGP, MPLS, routing, bridging - Hands-on experience with Kubernetes administration
- Familiarity with Security+ or similar certifications
- Experience with STIGs, compliance, and accreditation processes
- Knowledge of SD-WAN
