• Support the program and contractor Program Manager in security matters; their internal chain of command will be separate from the operations team.
• Ensure that IA team activities are internally coordinated and externally coordinated with the other contractor team members and the Government on all technical and policy matters related to Information Assurance.
• Act as backup for ISSO. The IA SME will maintain the same level of access as ISSO.

• Ten (10) or more years of experience providing information assurance support for full lifecycle IT projects with similar technologies.
• Possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or an additional 5 years of experience performing IA accreditation and support on projects with similar technologies.
• Current Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certification or equivalent which provides demonstrable record of security-focused education and certification.
