Zantech is looking for a talented Solutions Architect - Integration/API to contribute to the success of our upcoming Program Management Support project for an Hybrid role based out of the Washington DC Metro Area/Pentagon.

The Solutions Architect - Integration/API will play a crucial role in providing:

• Integration Architecture Design
• API Standards and Design Patterns
• Multi-Cloud Architecture
• Cross-Classification Data Integration
• Security Architecture and ATO Support

The Solutions Architect specializes in designing integration patterns, API standards, and multi-cloud architectures that enable secure, scalable data sharing across the Advana platform. This role provides deep technical expertise in cloud architecture, data integration, and cross-domain solutions to support the enterprise architecture vision.

This role defines the technical integration approaches that enable 180+ DoD systems to connect with Advana, ensuring secure, performant, and compliant data flows.

Responsibilities Include, But Will Not Be Limited To

• Design integration architecture patterns for connecting DoD systems to Advana
• Develop API standards, design patterns, and integration best practices
• Create multi-cloud architecture solutions balancing cost, performance, and security
• Design cross-classification level data integration approaches
• Provide technical expertise on real-time data integration (SLT, CDC, streaming)
• Support ATO processes with security architecture documentation
• Assess integration technologies and provide recommendations
• Create technical design documents and architecture decision records
• Coordinate with Advana platform teams on integration requirements
• Provide technical guidance to data engineers and developers
• Conduct architecture reviews and provide integration assessments

Required Experience Or Knowledge Of The Following Technologies/Functions

• 10+ years in solutions architecture with 5+ years in DoD cloud and integration projects
• Deep expertise in cloud architecture (AWS, Azure, multi-cloud)
• Extensive experience with API design, RESTful services, and microservices
• Real-time data integration technologies (Kafka, event streaming, CDC)
• Cross-classification level integration (NIPR/SIPR/JWICS)
• Data integration patterns and ETL/ELT architectures
• Security architecture and DoD RMF/ATO processes
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Cloud Formation)
• Containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Network architecture and secure connectivity (Private Link, VPN, MPLS)
• System integration and interface design
• Direct experience with Advana platform integration highly valued
• Experience with SAP systems (especially SAP SLT, BW, HANA) a strong plus
• Prior "first in DoD" or pilot program implementation experience valued
• Experience with AWS Private Link, Direct Connect, or secure cloud connectivity

Required Education/Certifications

• AWS Solutions Architect Professional or equivalent cloud certification
• Certifications Preferred:
• AWS Security Specialty or Data Analytics Specialty
• TOGAF or DoDAF certification
• Kubernetes certifications (CKA, CKAD)
• CISSP or equivalent security certification
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field
• Education Preferred:
• Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field
• Advanced coursework in distributed systems or cloud architecture

Required Security Clearance

• US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain an active TS/SCI or higher clearance, per contract requirements.
