ServiceNow Developer

The Service Now Developer will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of Service Now applications and modules to enhance IT service management within the organization. This role requires collaboration with various teams to ensure that Service Now functionality meets business needs.

• Develop and customize Service Now applications and modules using JavaScript, Glide Script, and other related technologies.

• Integrate Service Now with other IT management tools and applications to enable seamless data exchange.

• Write and maintain technical documentation for design, development, testing, and deployment processes.

• Participate in the analysis of business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

• Conduct unit tests and ensure quality assurance standards are met before deployment.

• Provide support and troubleshooting for Service Now applications, addressing issues as they arise.

• Stay current with Service Now updates and enhancements, and implement new features as necessary.

• Candidates must be U.S. citizens with no dual citizenship due to agency and contract requirements.

• 3+ years of experience in Service Now development.

• Strong knowledge of Service Now architecture and modules, particularly Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Catalog.

• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, XML, and related web technologies.

• Service Now Certified System Administrator and Implementation Specialist certification is preferred.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effectively working with cross-functional teams.
