Job Title: Power Platform Developer
Clearance Required: Secret Clearance or Higher
Location: Fort Belvoir VA, or Washington DC (1-2x a week on-site)
Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Power Platform Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience designing, developing, and deploying solutions using Microsoft's Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI. This role requires a Secret Clearance or higher due to the sensitive nature of the projects involved. The Power Platform Developer will work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver tailored solutions that streamline and automate processes.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and implement Power Platform solutions, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
- Ensure data security and compliance requirements are met in all solutions.
- Maintain and improve existing Power Platform applications.
- Develop custom connectors and APIs to extend Power Platform capabilities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues within Power Platform solutions.
- Conduct testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance to ensure quality and performance.
- Active Secret Clearance or higher is required.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
- Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 ecosystem and integration with Power Platform.
- Experience with custom APIs, connectors, and security best practices.
- Proficiency in Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
- Knowledge of relational databases, data models, and SQL.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with teams.
- Microsoft Power Platform certifications.
- Experience with Dataverse, Model‑Driven Apps, and Canvas Apps.
- Background in federal or government projects.
Compensation: $120,000 - $140,000 a year
