You’ll be a key part of a cross-functional team of strategists, designers, developers, and project managers who value transparency, collaboration, and quality.

WDG is looking for an experienced and collaborative Full-Stack Developer with strong Word Press Gutenberg expertise to join our team. This is a full-time, U.S.

-based role (candidates must be legally eligible to work in the U.S.).

We specialize in open-source web solutions that require both technical depth and strategic execution. Our projects often blend exploration and creativity with disciplined delivery — meeting precise timelines, goals, and business needs.

As a Senior Developer, you'll work across a range of high-impact, large-scale digital platforms — partnering with organizations like the American Red Cross, Barnes & Noble, Aspen Institute, and the University of Pennsylvania. Our work spans industries, with a focus on mission-driven clients. Many of the platforms we build support millions of monthly users.

You’ll play a critical role in advising clients on modern best practices, helping architect and build systems that are performant, scalable, and easy to use.

• Strong experience developing with Word Press Gutenberg
• Solid experience with React (or similar frameworks like Vue.js or Ember)
• Proficiency with PHP and custom theme/plugin development
• Experience with CMS platforms (Word Press, Drupal, etc.)
• Familiarity with Apache, Nginx, MySQL/MariaDB environments
• A strong grasp of modern development workflows and version control (Git)
• Experience implementing SSO integrations and workflows

• Experience with Linux server management
  , Dev Ops, or cloud platforms (AWS, Digital Ocean, etc.)
• Agency experience working on multiple client-facing projects
• Ability to obtain a federal government security clearance
• Familiarity with Git workflows and deployment strategies
