Regulatory Compliance Specialist, Talent Manager, Employee Relations
Overview
LHH is partnering with a non-profit organization in the DC area seeking a temporary Training and Compliance Specialist to provide hands-on support across core HR operations during a period of transition.
We are looking for a highly organized and proactive professional to support human resources and employee development initiatives. This role blends day-to-day HR administrative responsibilities with project-based work in training development, compliance, and recognition programs. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment, is detail-oriented, and enjoys creating organized, efficient systems.
Title:
Training and Compliance Coordinator (Temporary)
Assignment Length: 8–12 weeks, with potential to extend
Hours:
35 hours/week
Work Model:
Hybrid (2–3 days onsite per week)
Pay Rate: $30–$38/hour
Key Responsibilities
Key ResponsibilitiesHR & Administrative Support
- Assist with performance review processes, including scheduling, tracking, and documentation.
- Maintain HR records and support file management within ADP, SharePoint, and other HR systems.
- Provide general HR administrative support as needed.
Learning & Development Support
- Develop, summarize, and organize training materials for employee programs, including recognition initiatives.
- Assist with the design, development, and implementation of NAVEX compliance training modules.
- Track training completion and generate reports for leadership as required.
Project Coordination
- Support ad hoc HR and training-related projects from planning through execution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth delivery of programs and initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency in HR and training activities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, or a related field preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in HR, learning & development, or administrative support.
- Experience with HRIS systems (ADP, SharePoint) and learning management systems preferred.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
