Human Resources Generalist
Responsible for supporting Human Resources functions, with a strong focus on recruitment/onboarding and administering employee leave. Additional responsibilities include benefits administration and maintenance of employee data.
Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate hiring efforts, post job openings, screen candidates, schedule and participate in interviews, and manage community relations and career events.
Prepare offer letters, schedule screenings, and facilitate orientation. Maintain HRIS and reporting systems.
Manage STD and FMLA processes, documentation, and communication with employees and payroll. Assist with winter furlough and unemployment for field employees.
Update employee records, run reports, and oversee benefit enrollment and deductions in Viewpoint HRIS system.
Process monthly deferrals, manage loans, and ensure accurate payroll and vendor updates.
Handle offboarding, system updates, exit interviews, and benefit reconciliation.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field.
- 2–5 years of Human Resources experience, with a focus on recruitment, leave management, benefits.
- Experience with HRIS systems.
- Preferred:
Human Resources experience in a construction or manufacturing setting.
