About the Job
Temporary HR Generalist at a prestigious Washington, DC school. Opportunity to make a difference in education while advancing your career.
Responsibilities- Ensure compliance with and company policies.
- Support recruiting, onboarding, and maintain records.
- Coordinate employee recognition programs, provide disciplinary guidance, and maintain personnel files.
- Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, calendaring, and inbox management.
- Complete additional relevant HR tasks as required.
- 3+ years of HR generalist experience.
- Associate’s degree required;
Bachelor’s degree preferred. - Strong experience with benefits claims required.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel) and HRIS system.
- Detail-oriented, organized, excellent oral/written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable exercising discretion with confidential information in fast‑paced environment.
- $26-$30/hr, depending on experience.
- Temporary starting ASAP.
- 100% onsite in southeast Washington, DC.
