Job SummaryRestaurant Associates is seeking a dynamic General Manager to lead a high-profile, multi-unit dining and catering operation in the heart of Washington, DC. This role is ideal for a hospitality leader who thrives in fast-paced environments, excels at elevating guest experiences, and brings strong business acumen across restaurants, events, and large-scale catering. With active evenings, weekends, and a robust slate of special events, this position requires a hands‑on operator who can inspire teams, strengthen client partnerships, and execute at the highest level.
Key Responsibilities- Direct all daily operations across multiple units, ensuring exceptional service, consistency, and flawless execution.
- Own full P&L management, budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance.
- Lead, coach, and develop a diverse team, including hiring, training, progressive counseling, and performance management.
- Oversee scheduling, payroll, staffing strategies, and labor optimization.
- Partner closely with clients, guests, and internal stakeholders to maintain strong relationships and deliver best-in-class hospitality.
- Collaborate with culinary leadership to shape menus, enhance food quality, and drive innovation.
- Support and execute high-volume catering programs, evening activations, and special events.
- Implement new company initiatives, programs, and brand standards with precision and enthusiasm.
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, or Culinary Arts preferred.
- Minimum of five years of food service leadership, including multi-unit oversight.
- Strong background in high-volume catering, events, and restaurant operations.
- Demonstrated experience managing budgets and driving financial results.
- Proven ability to lead and develop teams in complex, guest-focused environments.
