Medical Billing Expert (Nephrology & Genetic Services)
Neph Nex is looking for an experienced Medical Billing Specialist with expertise in kidney care, nephrology, and genetic testing services to join our growing team.
Key Responsibilities- Manage end-to-end billing for nephrology and genetic testing services and consultation
- Ensure accurate coding using ICD-10, CPT, and Healthcare Common Procedure Coding System codes
- Submit claims, manage denials and appeals, and follow up with payers
- Handle insurance verification and prior authorizations
- Ensure compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payer guidelines
- Proven experience in nephrology and genetic billing
- Familiarity with payer-specific requirements for genetic and molecular testing
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Experience with electronic health records and billing platforms
