Job Summary
A Dining Site Nutrition Aide must provide four hours of time (10am-2pm) and oversee three activity hours per day in the community dining sites. This position will be under the supervision of the Nutritionist. He/She will assist with DACL client intakes, nutrition screenings, and daily sign-in sheets.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities- Thorough knowledge of food service industry, food sanitation, and health.
- Must have CPR requirements.
- Must possess sensitivity to the needs and problems of the aging.
- Supervisory experience a plus.
- High School diploma or any equivalent combination of education, experience, and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities of food service.
AND
- Two to four years of experience in food service or nutritional services or a Current DC Food Sanitation Certificate.
- Washington, DC Food Handlers Certification/License.
- Valid Driver’s License required.
