Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role located in Washington, MI for an Occupational Therapist at Milestones Autism Center. The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for assessing and developing individualized treatment plans for clients, implementing therapy programs, and documenting progress. The role involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, providing therapeutic interventions tailored to clients' needs, and supporting individuals in achieving developmental and functional goals.
The therapist will also work closely with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure continuity of care and contribute to the development of clinical resources.
- Proficiency in Occupational Therapy techniques and practices.
- Experience in Rehabilitation and Medicine for diverse client needs.
- Ability to work with Pediatrics and address pediatric-specific therapeutic requirements.
- Strong Communication skills to collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals effectively.
- Licensed as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Michigan or eligibility to obtain licensure.
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Compassionate, patient-focused with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Prior experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorders is a plus.
