Overview
Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center GW Health opened its doors this April as the first new full-service hospital in Washington, DC in more than 25 years. Integrating clinical care with existing community providers, Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs), The George Washington University Hospital, and our Urgent Care Center in Ward 8, this enhanced integrated delivery system will establish a robust network of care for all District residents, and will ensure residents of Wards 7 and 8 have access to high quality care in their community.
Our advanced hospital will offer 136 beds (with the ability to expand to 184 beds), a verified trauma center, adult and pediatric emergency departments, maternal health and newborn delivery, an ambulatory pavilion for clinic visits and other outpatient services, onsite 550-car parking garage, and a helipad for emergency transport.

We are seeking a MRI Technologist (Part-Time).
Our ideal candidate will report to the designated leader within the Imaging Department. As a Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologist, you will provide clinical services according to MRI practice standards and act as a resource to MRI students and other technologists while ensuring optimal department functions.

ResponsibilitiesAs an MRI Technologist, you will:
- Provide clinical MRI services according to practice standards
- Serve as a resource to MRI students and other technologists
- Contribute to optimal department function and patient care
Requirements
- High School Graduate or equivalent
- Diploma from certified school of Radiology
- Current ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Two (2) years of experience as an MRI tech; acute care experience preferred
- BS or MS in healthcare preferred
Skills
- Demonstrates knowledge and ensures compliance with regulatory bodies (e.g., The Joint Commission, ACR, Title 22)
- Compliance with hospital policies and procedures
- Strong leadership, organization, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to relate to clinical personnel, medical staff, and the public
- Working knowledge of computers and basic management applications
