Overview

CTL Associate II performs a variety of routine and specialized/complex cellular therapy laboratory procedures and projects. This position communicates effectively with management for processing, cell-based assays or equipment issues, troubleshoots basic processing, bioassays and equipment issues, initiates SOP revisions, assists in ordering supplies and maintaining inventories and performs cell-based release testing assays including high complexity assays such as Chromium release cytotoxicity assay and ELISpot.

Responsibilities
  • Consistently demonstrates adherence to the standards for the responsible conduct of research.
  • Plans, conducts and manages research projects within federal and institutional regulations and policies under the direction of the principal investigator.
  • Uses research funds and resources appropriately.
  • Maintains confidentiality of data as required.
  • Meets all annual job-related training and compliance requirements.
Qualifications

Minimum Education
:
Bachelors degree in basic science or related field desired. (Preferred)

Minimum Work Experience
: 1 year (Required)

Required Skills/Knowledge
:
Ability to operate different flow cytometers.
