Embracing Wellness PLLC is a Black woman-owned, trauma-informed, holistic therapy practice serving clients across DC, Maryland, and Virginia. We specialize in culturally responsive mental health care with a focus on supporting BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, immigrant, and marginalized communities.
Role DescriptionThis is a full or part-time remote role for a Therapist at Embracing Wellness PLLC. The therapist will :
- Provide high-quality, trauma-informed virtual psychotherapy.
- Conduct intake assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Maintain timely, accurate documentation in Simple Practice (EHR).
- Use standardized measures to track client progress as clinically indicated.
- Participate in team meetings, supervision, and case consultation.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, PMHNPs, PCPs, and community providers.
- Contribute to practice-wide quality improvement initiatives.
- Active licensure in DC, MD, and/or VA.
- Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology.
- Trauma-informed, strengths-based, and culturally responsive.
- Experience with BIPOC, immigrant, LGBTQIA+ communities preferred.
- Comfortable with telehealth & technology.
- Demonstrated history of strong professional accountability, punctuality, and respect for scheduling commitments.
- Capacity for autonomous, professional judgment, and predictable communication under pressure.
- Committed to ethical, anti-oppressive care.
- Successful background & reference check required.
- Competitive hourly pay (starting at $50/hr for pre-licensed).
- Flexible schedule
· Fully remote. - Paid administrative time.
- Admin, billing, and marketing support.
- Weekly clinical supervision for LGSWs.
- Autonomy for independently licensed clinicians.
- Monthly health insurance stipend (FT).
