Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Clinician role based in the Washington DC-Baltimore area. The Clinician will provide compassionate behavioral health care services to diverse clients in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing and implementing treatment plans, providing individual and group therapy, and maintaining accurate documentation. The Clinician will also participate in case meetings and coordinate with other providers and community resources to ensure holistic care for clients.

This role requires a commitment to serving underserved communities and improving accessibility to quality care.

Qualifications
  • Clinical skills and experience:
    Direct experience in providing assessments, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions for diverse populations, including individuals and families.
  • Knowledge of mental health practices:
    Familiarity with evidence-based practices, trauma-informed care, and behavioral health counseling techniques.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills:
    Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team and establish trust with clients from various backgrounds.
  • Organizational and documentation skills:
    Capacity for maintaining accurate client records and managing confidential information in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Licensure:
    Possession or eligibility for licensure as a Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or similar in Washington, DC.
  • Preferred qualifications:

    Experience in serving populations affected by housing instability or poverty, bilingual proficiency in English and another language, and a Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field.
