U.S. News & World Report has just released the  ratings and rankings, in which GW Hospital is recognized as a Best Regional Hospital. GW Hospital received the American College of Cardiology’s National Cardiovascular Data Registry (NCDR) Chest Pain – Myocardial Infarction (MI) Registry Platinum Performance Achievement Award for 2023.

Prepares tissue specimens for diagnosis by Pathologist. Works with Pathology residents, fellows and attendings to meet the needs of the clinicians and patients.

Qualification:

• A Bachelor's degree in applied clinical science with a course in Histology or an equivalent of training and experience is necessary.
• Two years experience in a Histology laboratory is desirable.
• Certification or eligibility for certification as Histotechnologist (HTL) or Histotechnician (HT) by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists.
