Nurse Manager - Behavioral Health Unit This full-time opportunity at Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center offers 40 hours per week, full benefits, and a salaried, day shift schedule in the Behavioral Health Unit.
ResponsibilitiesNurse Manager - Behavioral Health Unit This role oversees day-to-day operations of the hospital’s Behavioral Health department, including overall delivery and quality of patient care. The manager will assist with developing and implementing performance initiatives, ensuring patient safety, state and regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction. Daily responsibilities include managing daily work activities, ensuring quality, productivity, and efficiency while assisting in accomplishing strategic and operational objectives.
- Lead and manage the Behavioral Health Unit operations to ensure high-quality patient care and safety.
- Develop and implement performance initiatives and quality improvement plans.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
- Coordinate staffing, workflow, and daily activities to meet department objectives.
- Partner with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center opened its doors this April as the first new full-service hospital in Washington, DC in more than 25 years. The hospital integrates clinical care with community providers and partners to expand access to high-quality care for District residents. The facility offers a range of services and an on-site 550-car parking garage and helipad for emergency transport.

Requirements Qualifications- DC RN license
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in nursing
- BLS
- Certified in area of specialty preferred
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Effective interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to adapt to multiple changing priorities
- Ability to provide care that is respectful of and responsive to patient values in clinical decision making
