Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with acute care experience for a day shift inpatient rehab assignment.
Responsibilities- Work in an inpatient rehab setting within an acute care hospital
- Primary patient diagnoses include orthopedics, transplant, med surg, neurology, and ICU cases
- Monday to Friday schedule, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
- 12-week contract with 40 hours per week
- First-time travelers are welcome for this assignment
- Return staff must have at least a one-year separation from previous employment
- No requested time off is permitted during the first two weeks of the contract and no more than 7 days off allowed for a 13-week contract
- Local candidates within a 60-mile radius are accepted at a local rate
- Employees must complete required facility and unit-specific training modules within one week of signing their contract
- Scrub color is not specified
- Candidates may only be considered for one location at a time
- Active state PT license required if applicable
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of recent acute care experience in a hospital setting
- Skills in cardiopulmonary, geriatrics, neurology, oncology, and orthopedics required
- Flu vaccination required
- Two supervisor references required
