Physical Therapist I (Orthopedic)

Job Type: Full-Time - 40 hours per week - 8:00 a.m.

- 5:00 p.m.

The Physical Therapist I evaluates, treats, and manages patients with physical limitations and medical conditions under the supervision of clinical leadership. Using evidence-based techniques, the PT I prescribes and implements treatment plans to help patients achieve their maximum functional potential. The PT I collaborates with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, contributes to continuous improvement initiatives, and aligns their practice with the Hospital's goals and objectives.

• Conduct objective evaluations to assess patients' physical and medical conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment programs to optimize patient function.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to achieve patient-centered goals and outcomes.
• Actively participate in service, department, and hospital improvement projects to enhance patient care.
• Uphold and operationalize the goals and objectives of the Hospital within the care setting.

Education and

Qualifications:

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Licensure by the State of Maryland Board of Physical Therapy Examiners.
• Current AHA Health Care Provider CPR certification.

Work Experience

• Successful completion of required clinical internships during academic training.

Orthopedic Experience Required

• Salary Range:
• Minimum $36.47/hour - Maximum $60.21/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
