Ultrasound Technologist - US Tech RAD - Travel
All About Ultrasound is looking for an Ultrasound Technologist (US Tech) for an immediate travel opening in Yakima, WA. The right candidate must have 1 year of experience.
Responsibilities- Educate patients and/or their families regarding procedures performed
- Use sonographic equipment to identify and observe the area(s) of concern
- Prepare the exam room for examinations and assist radiologists with ultrasound procedures and ultrasound‑guided biopsies
- Report any abnormalities that require immediate attention to the appropriate medical staff
- Maintain sonography equipment and report machinery failure
- Conduct scan tests and write reports based on the results
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Use the McKesson PACS system
- 1 year of experience as a US Tech
- BLS, ARDMS National Certification, and state‑specific licensing (when required)
- Advanced certification in ARDMS (RDMS OB/GYN), BLS, 2 years of experience (additional certifications may be required before assignment)
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods and carry out physical tasks without difficulty
- Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
