Position Summary
Responsible for conducting outpatient neuropsychological and psychological evaluations, coordinating patient care related to neuropsychological and psychological functioning, and participating as an active member of multidisciplinary care teams. The psychologist will work with pediatric patients presenting with neurodevelopmental disorders (e.g., autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, intellectual disability), chronic medical illnesses (e.g., nephrology, hematology, cardiology, transplant), and psychiatric and behavioral health conditions that impact cognitive, emotional, or functional functioning.
This role supports diagnostic clarification, treatment planning, educational advocacy, and interdisciplinary care across medical and behavioral health services. The position requires close collaboration with families and caregivers, physicians, nurses, social workers, educational professionals, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and other allied health professionals. The psychologist will also participate in the supervision and training of psychology trainees, as appropriate.
Competencies

- Collaborate with families, caregivers, physicians, nurses, social workers, educational professionals, therapists, and other allied health professionals.
- Supervise and/or train psychology trainees as appropriate.
- Support diagnostic clarification, treatment planning, and educational advocacy across medical and behavioral health services.
- Education:
Doctoral degree with emphasis in clinical psychology, developmental psychology, school psychology, or counseling psychology. 2 year post-doctoral fellowship in pediatric neuropsychology preferred. - Knowledge:
Knowledge of pediatric assessment principles, including cognitive, academic, executive, language, memory, and socio-emotional functioning across development. Knowledge of standardized neuropsychological and psychological assessment tools and evidence-based interpretation. - Skills:
Demonstrated skill in administering, interpreting, and integrating pediatric neuropsychological and psychological assessments across developmental levels and clinical populations. Ability to communicate complex findings clearly to families, medical teams, and schools; collaborate effectively within interdisciplinary pediatric care settings. Must be flexible and have good time management skills. - Required Licensure/Certification:
Must have a Maryland Psychologist license or be license eligible. - Work Experience:
Minimum level of supervised experience to meet licensure requirements in the relevant field. Experience in a medical setting and in assessing/working with children and young adults ages 3–22 with confirmed or suspected medical or psychological conditions.

Salary Range:
Minimum $57.00/hour – Maximum $84.26/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
