Position SummaryThe Rehabilitation Aide will assist the Patient Experience Coordinator and clinicians by performing requested administrative and clinical duties. They will greet patients as they arrive to the clinic and work alongside the physical therapists and physical therapist assistants during patient treatment.

- Prepare patients for physical therapy treatments, apply/remove supportive devices, assist physical therapists during treatments, provide routine treatment.
- Safeguard, motivate, and assist patients practicing exercises and functional activities.
- Provide routine treatments such as hot/cold packs and other modalities such as Ultrasounds, Electrical stimulation, etc.
- Clean work area and equipment after treatment.
- Wash linens/towels, fold and maintain linen cabinets.
- Maintain restrooms and other areas; restock paper towels, tissue paper, soap and supplies.
- Assist patient experience coordinator with answering phones, scheduling appointments and filing paperwork and charts.
- Assist patient experience coordinator with tracking supplies and ordering inventory.
- Education:
High school graduate or equivalent; internship preferred. - Work Experience:
Previous Clinical Aide or Rehab Tech experience preferred. - Strong communication and presentation skills (written and verbal).
- Attention to detail and time management skills.
- Patient/Client Satisfaction:
Providing care/service that exceeds expectations. - Energetic team player with compassion toward patients.
- Basic knowledge of office equipment preferred.
- Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently.
- Vision requirements: close range, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception.
- Regularly required to talk and hear.
- Ability to fulfill office activities: remaining seated, filing, lifting paper reams, mail.
- Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands; occasionally lift 20-25 pounds.
- Fine hand manipulation (keyboarding).
- Internal office.
- Noise level usually low.
