Please note: A valid Washington D.C. Home Health Aide license is required for this position.

As a Home Health Aide, you’ll play a vital role in supporting patients in their homes. Working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or therapist, you’ll provide essential personal care services, monitor patient conditions, and help ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with bathing, grooming, and dressing

• Provide oral hygiene and back rubs

• Change bed linens and help with toileting

• Maintain cleanliness of the patient's living space

• Plan and prepare healthy meals, assist with feeding if necessary

• Measure and record vital signs (with demonstrated competency)

• Offer companionship and emotional support

• Must be 18 years or older

• Current Washington D.C. Home Health Aide license

• CPR certification (current and valid)

• Ability to read, follow care plans, and document services provided

• Compassionate, reliable, and self-motivated

• Must demonstrate tact, patience, and good personal hygiene

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Valid driver’s license and insured, reliable transportation
