Contract Length: 8 Weeks (if applicable—can be added)

Schedule:

Night Shift, 3×12s (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Pay Range: $75.00 – $85.00/hour

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide high‑quality respiratory care across pediatric, NICU, adult emergency, and critical care populations. This role requires strong clinical skills, adaptability, and confidence in managing patients across all acuity levels.

The Respiratory Therapist will perform diagnostic evaluations, therapeutic interventions, patient education, and cardiopulmonary management in accordance with physician prescriptions and established protocols.

Requirements
  • RRT Credential (NBRC)
  • ACLS & BLS Certifications
  • Experience:

    Minimum 2 years
  • Pediatric, NICU, Adult ER & Critical Care Experience — Required (All must be present; do not submit without)
Key Responsibilities
  • Administer prescribed respiratory care treatments and therapies
  • Conduct diagnostic evaluations, including:
    • Obtaining and analyzing physiologic specimens
    • Interpreting cardiorespiratory data
    • Performing cardiopulmonary testing and studies
  • Provide advanced respiratory management across all care environments
  • Apply and monitor:
    • Medical gas delivery systems
    • Mechanical ventilation
    • Bronchopulmonary hygiene techniques
    • Artificial airway care
    • Environmental control systems
  • Deliver pharmacologic therapies related to respiratory care
  • Support cardiopulmonary rehabilitation and hemodynamic stabilization
  • Educate patients and families regarding respiratory health and treatment plans
  • Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately

  • Pediatrics
  • NICU
  • Adult Emergency Room
  • Adult Critical Care Units

Patients may require ventilatory support, airway management, complex pulmonary therapies, or emergency respiratory interventions. Strong critical thinking and rapid response abilities are essential.
